Chimera Golf Club

Chimera Golf Club

Designed in 2003 by Ted Robinson Jr., Chimera Golf Club spans 6,906 yards and features forgiving fairways set amidst a playable desert landscape, offering a fair challenge from any tee. The course’s natural terrain and breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip create an exceptional setting for a round of golf. Begin your day by warming up on the driving range, enjoying unobstructed vistas of the Strip, Downtown Vegas, and snow-capped Mt. Charleston before heading out to the course.

The ever-changing winds of Vegas contribute to the unique experience at Chimera Golf Club, transforming the course day by day. Depending on the winds, there are potentially reachable par 5s and two drivable par 4s, introducing a risk-reward element few courses can match. With picturesque par 3s, firm and fast greens, extensive bunkering, elaborate water features, and pristine fairways, Chimera Golf Club is truly a “hidden oasis” in Las Vegas.

The name “Chimera,” pronounced “ki-meer-uh,” refers to a mythological, fire-breathing monster with the body and head of a female lion, a goat’s head arising from its back, and a serpent for a tail. Symbolizing infinite imagination, passion, and creativity, Chimera also represents the pursuit of the seemingly unattainable or elusive (“to chase Chimeras”). The illusion and mirage of this special oasis, created to combat the desert’s heat and sun, inspired the name Chimera.

The hope is that the Chimera brand becomes iconic for years to come and finds a welcoming home in the community. This is just the beginning – let’s create lasting memories together!
